2003 GMC Yukon 4.8 Ignition Coil Test. In this video I walk through my process for testing an ignition coil in my 2003 Yukon with a 4.8 litre V8. ** CHECK OUT THIS TEST KIT https://amzn.to/2LdLTUA
The engine light is on and the ODBII tester shows a P0300 Code. There are 8 ignition coils on this vehicle and to replace them all it could cost upwards of $200. The tester I used was under $10, plus shipping. Below is a link to an HEI system ignition tester.
The video is for demonstration only. Working on your motor and ignition is your decision and you should consult a professional mechanic before doing any work to your vehicle. Remember to be safe and never unplug, or plug anything while the engine is running.
